According to la Gazzetta dello Sport, Sevilla are planning a move to return their former star striker from AC Milan, Carlos Bacca. Despite reports claiming interest from Sevilla regarding a possible transfer of Stevan Jovetić (Fiorentina), the Spanish club could make an offer in the next hours.

Marseille have already come forward to AC Milan with a loan offer with an option to buy for Bacca, though the offer had been rejected as the price tag on the Colombian forward is rumored to be set at €20 million. Sevilla’s next offer would be a €2 million loan deal, with an option to buy for an additional €13 million.

Interest in Bacca is rumored to be very high according to his agent, who states the Colombian remains ambitious as he recently turned down a possible move to China despite approaching his 31st birthday and not being into Vincenzo Montella’s plans.

Carlos Bacca featured in the majority of Milan’s matches last season (31 appearances, 13 goals) but is now facing tough competition for the lone striker spot on the Rossoneri starting XI, with recent signing André Silva now looking to make an impact in the upcoming Serie A campaign.
